Capital Expenditure for State-Owned Construction Increased

Jakarta - Ahmad Bambang as Deputy of Construction and Transportation Facilities and Infrastructure (KSPP) of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises revealed the increase of capital expenditure budget. The increase is higher than 2017, it is 114 trillion rupiah (IDR).

Bambang explains that the budget purposed to finish the incomplete infrastructure project that has not been completed yet such as tolls road, airport and harbour and also addition of the new tolls road (Probolinggo, Banyuwangi, East Java). Government targeted most of the project that still on progressing phase have to complete before Lebaran season 2018.

“Lampung-Palembang toll road, Trans-Java from Merak-Probolinggo functionally targeted on Lebaran,” Bambang said.

The value of capital expenditure or capex of state-owned construction increased by 25.45% from the estimated capital expenditure of all state-owned enterprises in 2018 of 550 trillion rupiah (IDR). In the strategic plan of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) 2015-2019, the allocation of capital expenditure in 2018 is planned to be 616 trillion rupiah (IDR). The amount is higher than the projection in 2017, 497 trillion rupiah (IDR).
