In order to accelerate the construction of Jakarta-Bandung fast train, Ministry of Stated-Own Enterprises Rini Soemarwo goeas to China to meet China Railway Corporation (CRC). In her visit, she is welcomed by the Precident of China Railway International, Head of Consortium  of Jakarta-Bandung HSR Project and Chairman CRRC Qingdao Sifang.

Aligns with Rini’s purpose, CRC also commits to fasten the project by constructing the tunnel include Walini Tunnel. Minister Rini says, the construction works will be on 21 ritical areas and will be start on the beginning of May 2018. Furthermore, the land acquisition target will be on the end of May 2018.

“Hoping the project is able to accelerate on April to getthe good progress, especially in critical areas,” said Rini when the press conference is held in Beijing, China.

Along with KCIC and CRC will going to plan about the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in Halim Perdanakusuma Area and Walini.

The 350 Km/h train predicted to be netizen interest since it could shorten the distance of Jakarta-Bandung only 40 minutes long. The train will be stopped at 4 stations, those are Halim Station, Karawang Station, Walini Station and Tegalluar Station.
