Indonesia Government Offers 15 Projects to Foreign Investors

Jakarta - Indonesia government represented by The Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan is going to visit China and America to offers some projects. There are fifteen (15) projects the Minister wants to offer to the investors.

“We prepare 15 projects, over all. Whereas it is on North Sumatera, North Kalimantan, Manado and Bali,” said Luhut.
Those projects are going to offer to investors in China and in the World Economic Forum in Washington, United States that will be presented by Luhut as Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs.

“Progress has reach to the China government is officially wants to choose who the counterpart is to having discuss with me. In the same time, we also offering on 18 (date) in World Economic Forum Washington to those who are interested in the projects. So, it would be the fastest and the meet the price that I will choose,” said Luhut.

The investors however used to required 4 characteristics as the determined by the Indonesia Government. First, it is a must to use eco-friendly technology. Second, preparing the use of local manpower within 4 years of project construction. Third, no raw material export are allowed. Last point is technology transfer from investors to Indonesia government.

Those 4 characteristics of requirements are the important value to meet the deal. On the other hand, beside offering projects to investors, Minister Luhut plans to join partnership about Hydro Power investation from Tiongkok.
