Jakarta - The year 2018 is the year of acceleration of infrastructure. One of the strategic infrastructures and the national priorities, which is the order of the construction process by the government, is the achievement of the target of 1.000 Km Toll Road will be operational until 2019. The construction of the toll road in the administration of President Joko Widodo became the largest. Because, 3 years of his leadership, until December 2017, Indonesia already has 560 Kilometers new highway.

In view of this rapid achievement, the Foundation for Public Works (YBP-PU) through PT Mediatama Saptakarya (MEDISA) in cooperation with SISPRO.CO.ID initiated the publication of a book entitled "Towards 2,000 Kilometers of Toll Roads in Indonesia". In the preparation of this book, full support is also provided by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), Toll Road Enterprises (BUJT), and other relevant stakeholders, particularly in the provision of data and information, , investment, construction, information related to toll road infrastructure in Indonesia.

The presentation of this book begins with an overview of the toll road, including the history sequence since the toll road was first proposed, by the Mayor of Jakarta, Sudiro (1953-1960), as well as the opinions of several stakeholders who played an important role in realizing the 2000 km Toll Road Indonesia, including: Minister of PUPR, Minister of Agriculture and Spatial Planning / Head of BPN, Directorate General of Highways, Head of BPJT, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk as investor and contractor, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk as BUJT and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk) as one of the banks that support the financing of Toll road infrastructure.

This book also provides complete information on the Toll Road Network in all parts of Indonesia, both operated and those already entering the construction phase, in addition to the data of 49 BUJT (Toll Road Enterprises) companies in Indonesia. Information on new toll roads, which are still in the planning category, have also been described. Before closing with the discussion of the SPM (minimum service standard) of toll roads, this book also provides information on Volume, Tariff and Opportunities and Procedures of toll road investment in Indonesia, as well as related Regulations and Policies.
