Jakarta—Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) with Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) are now studying the implementation discount of toll tariff  during mudik season 2018.

Minister Basuki says, the discount program is being studied to find the deal. The toll road that will be given discount starting from Dalam Kota Toll Road, Trans Jawa Toll Road and also non Trans Jawa Toll Road.

“Insya Allah all them (toll). After we get the deal, we issued the decree of the ministry. They (the BUJT) responsible to the shareholder,” Basuki explained.

In addition, the price is not fixed yet because the program is still under the internal discussion between PUPR and BUJT.

PUPR along with Indonesian Police and also Ministry of Transportation organize the traffic management to avoid the crowded in toll road. By manage the traffic, government is not worried about the crowded in the toll road as the toll tariff discount.
