Bogor Outer Ring Road Operated this April

Jakarta - The construction of Bogor Outer Ring Roang (BORR) section IIB is going to the last stage. PT Marga Sarana Jabar (MSJ) as the toll manager have completed the last lifting of box girder for this elevated toll road. As the last girder has been attached the 2,65 Km toll road has been entirely connected.

Hendro Atmodjo, the director of PT Marga Sarana Jabar says that they have completed the target faster on the beginning of March 2018.

“As the plan, BORR section II were planned to fully operated on mid April 2018,” Atmodjo said.

The last lifting works of box girder however did not affected by the previous moratorium as the ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) issued. This is because the Committee of safety bridges and road tunnel has given the permission to Ministry of PUPR and permitted to continue the project after 4 days of suspension.

To complete the eligible sertification of the toll, the team of Committee of Safety Bridges and Tunnel will do the maximum loading test on Thursday (1 March 2018). The test however to make sure the feasibility of elevated construction that have been applied on this toll is safe to. Over all, the construction progress has reached 98,5%.

“Over all, the land acquisition has been completed. Physically 98,5% have not been done yet, 1,5% is the rest, it is fenced in, paved, marked sign and lighting. The price for this toll will be arounf IDR 1,200 – IDR 1,300 (Rupiah) per kilometre,” explained Atmodjo.
