Samarinda - The construction of the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road as the first toll on Borneo island has reached 48% progress of the overall work. The toll road with a total length of 99.35 km is targeted to be completed at the end of 2018 later, and will be used in full by early 2019.

As of February 1, 2018 yesterday, the progress of land acquisition for Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road has reached 90.67%. In view of these conditions, Arie and his side will continue to accelerate land acquisition for the first toll road construction on the island of Borneo by conducting negotiations and coordination to the relevant parties.

Later, the toll road will be operated early in 2019 will cut the time and cost of distribution of goods and basic necessities for the area of ??Balikpapan and Samarinda. Users of this toll can cut the journey as far as 34 km by just spending travel time between Balikpapan to Samarinda or vice versa in just 1 hour.
