Jakarta - Ministry of Transportation explains that they provided IDR 1 trillion from State Budget to construct Electric Rail Train (KRL) of Solo—Yogya. The multiyears project is now identifying the problems while the budget is not issued yet.

“We hope the construction can do on this year and complete in 2 years,” said Budi Karya Sumadi as Minister of Transportation

Public Relation Manager of PT KAI region IV Yogyakarta, Eka Budianto says the construction of the KRL route was scheduled on 2018.

“We know nothing about it. Whereas the electric of top flow (LAA) that will be used for the stake were done to provided,” said Eka Budianto.

Moreover, PT KAI also claims that the citizen asks to KRL route to be extended untill Kutoarjo.

“They ask to Prambanan Ekspress train that usually operate from Solo—Yogya changed to KRL. Seeing their big animo, we hope the project will execute as soon as possible,” he added.
