PREFABRICATED VERTICAL DRAIN (PVD) is a sheet that act as vertical drainage, which is a combination of core material and spun-bond non woven geotextile as wrapping layers. The core product is available in three types of different contours, in accordance with the project requirements. PVD serves to accelerate the process of consolidation of the soil, especially on clay or silty clay. PVD installed vertically into the ground to siphon the water from the layer of soft soil to the surface.
